Chuck Fleischmann

For Congress 2010
Tennessee
Huck PAC and I are proud to endorse Chuck Fleischmann in his campaign for Congress, representing the 3rd Congressional District of Tennessee. Chuck is the type of strong, conservative leader that we need representing us and fighting for our principles in Washington. Now more than ever we need someone working in Washington who has run a small business, balanced a budget, and raised a family. Chuck Fleischmann has done all of these things successfully.

Washington insiders got us into the mess that we are facing. It’s hardworking, principled conservatives like Chuck who will help get us out. Chuck is pro-life and in favor of traditional marriage. He is also a strong proponent of a balanced budget, and in fact, has pledged to make the Balanced Budget Amendment the first legislation he introduces.

Chuck Fleischmann is an authentic conservative who favors tax cuts for the American people, earmark reform, and complete transparency in government. I am confident that Chuck Fleischmann will become one of the leaders of a new kind of public servant – those who will never forget that they work for the American people and will always listen to the voices of the people who elected them.

I urge each of you to support Chuck Fleischmann for Congress in the 3rd Congressional District of Tennessee.

Jeff Hartline

For Congress 2010
Tennessee
A businessman and adjunct college professor, Jeff will be a new voice for the people of the 5th district of Tennessee. Jeff’s voice will be stand up for fiscal responsibility and smaller government with no deficit spending, for entrepreneurial job creation and a sound economy, for human life and traditional marriage, for secure borders and for a renaissance of freedom by a return to and respect for constitutional limits on government.

Having helped start two small businesses – and having weathered tough economic times as both an employee and an employer – Jeff understands the issues facing our economy and that small businesses are the backbone of our economy.

Jeff and his wife Melodie have been foster parents and have helped women choose the option of adoption over abortion. Jeff believes marriage is between one man and one woman for life. He also is a firm believer in the Second Amendment – and practices that essential freedom as a conceal carry permit holder.

Together, he and his wife home-schooled their three children and Jeff has taught American history and coached high-school baseball for more than a decade.

Jeff's conservative values are not politics – they're engrained in him . . . they’re personal. I hope you will join me in supporting Jeff Hartline for Congress. Tennessee deserves a person like Jeff representing their interests in Washington.

The Sky Is Falling

The sky is falling or at least Washington seems to think so. And because they do, get ready for new taxes, new spending and new regulations. The nanny state is alive and well and if you don't listen and do what Washington tells you to do, you might just get hit on the head. So watch out this morning when you leave your front door, because you never know what might hit you

Huck PAC House Parties August 22nd!

On August 22nd Huck PAC supporters will gather to meet one another and make phone calls on behalf of Huck PAC endorsed candidate Bob McDonnell.  Bob is running for Governor of Virginia.  He has what it takes to be a great leader for Virginia.

Our goal for the day is to make 10,000 calls to Virginia voters. We are asking participants at each House Party to make a few calls using their cell phones.  You do not have to make calls to attend a Party and participation is FREE.  We will provide the lists of voters names and phone scripts for everyone willing to participate.

First though, we need House Party hosts.  If you are interested in hosting a House Party or want more information please contact Katie Beth Harris at Huck PAC or call Huck PAC at 501-324-2008.  Her email is katiebeth.harris(at)mikehuckabee.com.

As we identify House Party Hosts we will add their party information to the map below.

I'm A Professional Volunteer

My name is Kim and I am what my husband refers to as a "professional volunteer".  Aside from my many hours of political volunteering I can be found at helping out church, my son's middle school, my daughter's elementary school, helping with their various activities (youth symphony and theatre productions) and serving on the boards of three non-profit organizations.  I am a musician by trade, but spend most of my time serving my various causes.  If you ever came in the Shelby County McCain-Palin HQ, you likely saw me there!  I was asked by a friend on Election Night 2006 who I was thinking about for US President, and I declared my support for Gov. Huckabee.  I made hundreds of calls throughout his campaign and I am excited to be continuing on with the message of electing Conservative Leaders.

The Case For Lamar Alexander

The red plaid shirt that changed my life

In the summer of 1990 I had the priviledge of attending Tennessee Girls State. If you are not familiar with the program, check out their website. It was an amazing experience that I will treasure forever. I can only hope that my daughter will be lucky enough to gain the same experience.

While at Girls State I was a citizen of Blount City. Believe it or not I can still sing our Blount City Cheer ("we are the Blount city girls, we wear our hair in curls."). The week was busy to say the very least. At the end of the week we not only had created and operated governments for our cities, but had elected a Governor. I was given the Governor appointed position of Secretary of Transportation.

The most exciting part of the experience for me was the last day. Having grown up in TN I was quite familiar with Gov. Lamar Alexandar. He served as Governor of our state from 1978-1987. After that he went on to become the President of the University of TN (and since then US Secretary of Education and two-time Presidential Contender). On the last day of Girls State our guest speaker walked in wearing a red plaid shirt. He needed no introduction. It was Gov. Lamar Alexander.

Gov. Alexander spoke to us (a group of rising HS Seniors) with such ease. He talked of differences between political parties and where his beliefs fell. I quickly realized that I had found where I belong. His passion for education and public speaking was inspiring. It sparked my interest in politics and campaigning and continues to impact my life. Because of this realization of my own political beliefs I can honestly say that I have voted in every single election that I have been eligible for and I have done atleast a small amount of campaign work during every major election.

Sen. Alexander inspired in me the kind of life long conservatism that is embodied by Huck PAC. I encourage all TN voters to keep our state red (or red-plaid as the case may be). Here are a few key reasons why you should support Sen. Alexander in his 2008 bid for re-election:

Sen. Alexander opposes abortion:

-Voted YES on banning partial birth abortions except for maternal life
- Voted YES on criminal penalty for harming unborn fetus during other crime

Sen. Alexander supports family:
- Voted YES on constitutional ban on gay marriage
- Rated 100% by the Christian Coalition
- Supports giving school decisions back to families

Sen. Alexander supports gun ownership:
- Rated A by the NRA
- Voted YES on prohibiting lawsuits against gun manufacturers

Sen. Alexander is a patriot:
- Voted YES on extending Patriot Act's Wiretap provision
-  Supports a strategic alliance with Israel
-  Voted YES on constitutional ban on flag desecration
-  Supports patriotic affirmation in schools
