Candidates

Billy Long

For Congress 2010
Missouri
Huck PAC and I are pleased to announce our support of Billy Long for Congress. Undoubtedly, Billy is the right candidate to battle politics as usual in Washington.

Billy is a small business owner, not a politician. He will bring a fresh, commonsense perspective to Congress. As a small business owner he understands what it means to meet a payroll and we need more people in Washington who have actually signed the front of a paycheck, not just the back of one.

Billy is ardently pro-life and will be a warrior for the pro-life cause – that’s why the Missouri Right to Life has endorsed him.

Billy Long is the right candidate with the right message, I hope you will join me in supporting Billy Long for Congress.

Roy Blunt

For U.S. Senate 2010
Missouri
Huck PAC and I are pleased to announce our support of Congressman Roy Blunt for U.S. Senate. Roy is a fifth generation Missourian, who first served the people of Missouri as Secretary of State in 1984, and was then elected to Congress in 1996 and has been re-elected seven times, most recently in 2008.

While many in DC have forgotten, or worse, disregarded the desires of their constituents, Roy has held firmly to his conservative values and those of Missourians – working tirelessly as an active legislator to get things done for his constituents. Roy isn’t just one of the good ones . . .he’s one of the great ones.

Roy recognizes that Missouri’s senate seat is crucial in the battle against the far left and their liberal agenda for America. Congressman Blunt has held true to always fight for what is best for Missouri and the nation as a whole. Roy has the proven ability to work with members of both parties using his ability to find common ground without compromising his values.

I hope you will join me in supporting Congressman Roy Blunt for U.S. Senate, Missouri and America needs him.

Sam Graves

For Congress 2010
Missouri
I am pleased to endorse Congressman Sam Graves for re-election to Congress from the 6th Congressional District of Missouri. Missouri has a leader in the House of Representatives - Congressman Sam Graves. Sam has always made certain that he he brought solid Missouri values to Washington, DC. A sixth generation Missourian, he began his political career as a State Representative, then a State Senator and now serves with distinction in the U.S. House of Representatives. Sam Graves has proven to be an outstanding leader for the 6th congressional district of Missouri since 2001.

Congressman Graves is known as a leader in Congress on national security. He is also helping to lead the fight for lower taxes, our long term financial security, and the fiscal irresponsibility now taking place in Washington. Sam is fighting hard to ensure that our military is fully funded, that your taxes are lowered, that our borders are secure, to stabilized Social Security for seniors, and to decrease our dependence on foreign sources of oil.

Among the many achievements of Sam Graves is legislation that he wrote and helped pass that prevents Predatory or Pay Day Lenders from targeting our troops, ensuring passage of an amendment to the No Child Left Behind Law that makes 95 cents of every education dollar spent in the classroom the goal for the government.

As a father, farmer, businessman, and former State legislator, Sam Graves knows firsthand the values, hopes, and beliefs of the hard-working families of the Sixth District and will continue to work tirelessly for them in the United States House of Representatives.

The Sky Is Falling

The sky is falling or at least Washington seems to think so. And because they do, get ready for new taxes, new spending and new regulations. The nanny state is alive and well and if you don't listen and do what Washington tells you to do, you might just get hit on the head. So watch out this morning when you leave your front door, because you never know what might hit you

Huck PAC House Parties August 22nd!

On August 22nd Huck PAC supporters will gather to meet one another and make phone calls on behalf of Huck PAC endorsed candidate Bob McDonnell.  Bob is running for Governor of Virginia.  He has what it takes to be a great leader for Virginia.

Our goal for the day is to make 10,000 calls to Virginia voters. We are asking participants at each House Party to make a few calls using their cell phones.  You do not have to make calls to attend a Party and participation is FREE.  We will provide the lists of voters names and phone scripts for everyone willing to participate.

First though, we need House Party hosts.  If you are interested in hosting a House Party or want more information please contact Katie Beth Harris at Huck PAC or call Huck PAC at 501-324-2008.  Her email is katiebeth.harris(at)mikehuckabee.com.

As we identify House Party Hosts we will add their party information to the map below.

Moral Leadership

My family was here before this was America. My wife’s family has proven that they fought in the American Revolution as “blue coats”. I believe we did also. I am pro life. When I was born my mother almost lost her life to bring me into this world. If she would do this for me all mothers should.

I was raised on the farm doing many jobs before becoming a firefighter. I was disabled in 1995 with a back injury. I took over the cattle farm. Governor Huckabee stepped up and ran for President.

I backed him because we needed moral leadership in this country. In 2008 I felt a calling to run for Lt. Governor of the state of Missouri. I had a great time meeting good people who just want the right thing done. Morality, constutionality and good old fashioned common sense, this nation would be fine. When I stepped up to run I had never been able to get in front of a small group of people and get my words to come out of my mouth. But the good LORD gave me the ability to speak properly.

One time while giving a speech he stopped me in the middle and had me totally change the speech and I received a standing ovation. People came up to me and said that they believed the constitution ran in my veins. I don't know about that but I do believe in it fully.

From Impressed To Involved

Shortly after the straw poll in Ames, Iowa, I became increasingly interested in Mike Huckabee as a presidential candidate. As a resident of southwest Missouri, I was somewhat familiar with the former governor from our neighboring state to the south. I was impressed with Huckabee's humor, ability to communicate and connect to average Americans, and his uncompromising stand on issues I hold near and dear. John Putnam, our Republican county chairman, was backing Huckabee in the primary and urged me to get involved.

When the Meetup Groups were announced, I formed one of the first groups that went on to be one of the largest and most active. However, I quickly discovered that there was no communication among the Meetup Groups for coordinated efforts. Through online networking I quickly found myself working with HucksArmy, as we formed a structured independent national grassroots campaign in support of Huckabee's presidential campaign.

I was working at the time in the construction industry, and I remember being on top of someone's roof many times when I received calls from confused state coordinators, media representatives, or other volunteers working on the campaign. It reminded me of the story of Nehemiah as the Israelites worked with one hand and carried their weapon in the other. With the assistance of John Putnam, we also printed our own yard signs, operated a phone bank, hosted local events, and ran a great local campaign which resulted in a 2 to 1 margin over any other candidate on election night.

Though we lost the election, the battle continues through the efforts of Huck PAC. My wife and I live in Joplin with our two children, and I am currently considering a run for state representative in 2010. I am also working with other volunteers to help advance the Missouri FairTax legislation through our state legislature. Regardless of what form my involvement takes, uninvolvement is not an option. I count it a privilege to be able to serve as a state coordinator for Huck PAC Missouri, and I look forward to working together with others to advance the issues of life and liberty and principled conservative candidates.

Missouri Huck PAC Puts Down Roots

We have had a great response from our first round of Huck PAC volunteers across the state of Missouri, and I am excited about growing our network of coordinators. With the launch of the new Huck PAC website yesterday, online groups are beginning to be formed for each county in the Show-Me State and county coordinators are stepping forward to help connect our volunteers on a local level.

Several outstanding candidates have already submitted their names for endorsement, and I look forward to working with each Huck PAC volunteer to send consistent conservative candidates to Jefferson City and Washington, D.C.

As we move forward in developing our grassroots network, please join us with your time, prayers, financial support, and energy as we put down roots in the Show-Me State!

Huck PAC - The Way To Get The Message Out

I was a huge Huckabee supporter and I still have his bumper sticker on my truck, along with a sticker that says "Don’t blame me, I voted Huckabee."  I joined the Huckabee cause to restore respect to this nation.  I liked his vision and common and basic approach to the critical problems facing America today.  I am a 21-year-old who just ran for a county wide office.  I ran for Dunklin County Assessor.  I traveled my county and got to meet and visit with the voters first hand, and the majority of them (including Democrats) liked the Huckabee message.  I have read all three books and I think HUCKPAC is the best way to get the message out.  I will do my part in any way to lead this movement.

Faith, Family and Freedom

I signed up for HuckPAC because I cannot stand to see our country taken over by liberals and their ridiculous ideas.  I especially want to keep all of our freedoms, I am tired of liberals walking all over conservatives.  It is about time we stand up and stop them!  I live in Texas county and am willing to do whatever is needed for HuckPAC.

Working Hard in Missouri

Dear Missouri HuckPAC Volunteer,

I wanted to take a minute to introduce myself and connect with you as we move forward in working to elect conservative candidates here in Missouri. I am a resident of southwest Missouri and had the privilege of helping to coordinate the volunteer efforts for Mike Huckabee's presidential campaign here in the state. Earlier this year, I was asked to become a state coordinator for the HuckPAC National Volunteer Team (NVT) in Missouri. Last week Philip Sherman of Sedalia has stepped up to assist me in our coordination efforts.

To begin building our statewide network of volunteers and increase our effectiveness, I would like to ask each of you to reply to this email and share briefly about yourself and what caused you to sign up as a HuckPAC volunteer. Please include any strengths, giftings, or key contacts that you are willing to share with the group as well as the county in which you live. One of our first steps of building our NVT network in Missouri is to identify a county coordinator for each county in Missouri. If you are interested in serving in this capacity (even temporarily), please note that in your email as well.

I am excited about our efforts here in Missouri, and you are a crucial part! Don't forget about the HuckPAC house parties scheduled across the state for this Thursday night (click here for more details). Also, please encourage your family and friends to sign up at www.huckpacvolunteer.com   as well as our Missouri HuckPAC group on Facebook.  I look forward to working together with you over the next few months.

Standing for faith, family, and freedom!
