Candidates

Tim Huelskamp

For Congress 2010
Kansas
We are proud to endorse State Senator Tim Huelskamp for Congress in Kansas' first district. Tim Huelskamp represents all the qualities that a politician should possess. He is a remarkable leader - unafraid to stand up for conservative principles. His ten year voting record proves that.

We all recognize that our country is at a critical period in its history. We should all remember that when electing our leaders, it is the record not the rhetoric that matters. Tim Huelskamp has a record that few leaders can match, a record that supports his conservative Kansas values. I strongly support Tim because I know he stands with us in fighting for the important conservative principles. Tim Huelskamp is 100% pro-life. He doesn't have to tell me that. His voting record speaks volumes for his beliefs.

Tim Huelskamp is a strong advocate for fiscal responsibility, respect for the sanctity of life, judicial restraint, private property rights, and the protection of marriage. He is a leading conservative voice in the Kansas Legislature. His strong commitment to conservative principles has earned him recognition by many outstanding conservative organizations.

Please join me in supporting Tim Huelskamp for Congress in Kansas' first district.

The Sky Is Falling

The sky is falling or at least Washington seems to think so. And because they do, get ready for new taxes, new spending and new regulations. The nanny state is alive and well and if you don't listen and do what Washington tells you to do, you might just get hit on the head. So watch out this morning when you leave your front door, because you never know what might hit you

Huck PAC House Parties August 22nd!

On August 22nd Huck PAC supporters will gather to meet one another and make phone calls on behalf of Huck PAC endorsed candidate Bob McDonnell.  Bob is running for Governor of Virginia.  He has what it takes to be a great leader for Virginia.

Our goal for the day is to make 10,000 calls to Virginia voters. We are asking participants at each House Party to make a few calls using their cell phones.  You do not have to make calls to attend a Party and participation is FREE.  We will provide the lists of voters names and phone scripts for everyone willing to participate.

First though, we need House Party hosts.  If you are interested in hosting a House Party or want more information please contact Katie Beth Harris at Huck PAC or call Huck PAC at 501-324-2008.  Her email is katiebeth.harris(at)mikehuckabee.com.

As we identify House Party Hosts we will add their party information to the map below.

The Values and Principles of Gov. Huckabee

I joined the national volunteer team because I believe in the values and principles promoted by Mike Huckabee and his fans. I believe with all my heart that we desperately need the FairTax in this nation. I believe we need to uphold the sanctity of life.

The current economic crisis is probably a temporal judgment from God because so many in our nation have forgotten how important human life is, especially in the womb.

May God bless and strengthen all of us as we pray for revival and spiritual awakening in our land. America needs to heal from the inside out!

Tax Day Is Upon Us Again

Well Kansans, tax day is upon us again.  April 15th looms ever closer and it will be another year of waiting until the last moment to send
them in.  Another great way to spend April 15th is to have a tea party.

I don't mean earl grey and cookies.  I mean telling Obama and the Democratic Congress that we are sick and tired of the bailouts.  We are
sick and tired of higher taxes, increased spending and deficits, and the Government reaching its greedy hands into every corner of American
life.  You may ask yourself how you can do this, well I have the answer.

The First HuckPAC event for Kansas is the National Tax Day Tea Party. You can read more about it at http://www.taxdayteaparty.com and click
on the link for Kansas.  These tea parties are protests of the current handling of our nations economy and the piling up of ever increasing debt on society.  I would encourage you to find a local tea party, make some signs and go and send President Obama a message that he cannot ignore!!!

Faith, Family and Freedom

I saw Mike Huckabee speak on his tour through Kansas and I couldn't believe my eyes.  His views on Faith, Family, and Freedom were exactly like my own.

1)  I think God would want us to protect life (I was adopted at birth).  I think abortion is wrong and unconstitutional (LIFE, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness).  The babe in the womb is a person.  Only Adult stem cell research is ethical and moral. Human Life is sacred and God given.
2)  I think marriage should be a commitment between one man and one woman. These unions are blessed by God and should be recognized by our government, not a mutually agreed on living arraignment between friends of the same sex or other groups of people for financial advantage or political gain.
3) I want strong defense to be organized by my government as well as border controls and anti-terrorist measures. (But, I want the right to have guns in my home for sport.)
4) I would like a flat tax.
5) Any more BAILOUTS ARE BAD.

I'm a mother of three teens and married for 25 years this year.  In the 1990's I used to be a Marketing/Sales Representative for IBM.  I am currently working on gaining licensure for teaching Secondary Level English in Kansas High Schools, so I am a full time student at Washburn University. I have to take about 30 more hours of classes in the school of Education for the Masters Degree.  I was also a Sunday School Director and Youth Minister. My degree from the University of Illinois was in Speech Communications.  I'm good at pulling folks together and I think it is time to resurrect the true Republican Party.  I worked with John Boehner's office for parties for the president when we lived in OHIO a few years ago.  We must gather and be heard.  Our freedoms depend on capitalism not socialism. Can you tell I love to listen to Hannity, Rush, Laura, and Glen? We need to build up our numbers and organize.  Huck PAC is a great way to be counted.  We can't sit back any longer. Our rights are in jeopardy.

p.s. I want to pick my own and my children's health care and no one gets to mess with my mutual funds except me...no matter how low they go!

Dick Kelsey For Congress

I am pleased to endorse Dick Kelsey for election to the 4th Congressional District seat in Kansas.  Dick Kelsey, a state Senator in Kansas announced on February 9 that he would run for the Congressional seat being vacated by Todd Tiahrt, who is now running for the United States Senate from Kansas.  Dick Kelsey has provided important legislative leadership for the people of Kansas, and we can expect him to do the same in the United States House of Representatives.  We can count on Dick Kelsey to bring Kansas values to Washington. D.C.

Dick Kelsey is pro-life, pro-family, pro-business and pro-military.  His outstanding conservative record makes him a strong ally for all conservatives, and a person who we can count on to support important conservative principles in Washington, D.C.  Dick was one of the first people to criticize the $700 billion plus federal bailout bill, saying "I can honestly say that I am running because I do not believe that my generation has a right to mortage their generation (grandchildren).  The things that we've doing right now in Washington as we speak, these kids are going to have to pay for it, and that ought not to be."

He believes that as a society we must protect life from conception to its natural conclusion. Dick believes in Limited Government and a Strong National Defense. Senator Kelsey also knows that hard work and small businesses are the backbone of our economy and that when we keep taxes low, we encourage them to flourish.

Kansas House Party

As I'm Arriving at the restaurant to set up the party I get a call.  The voice on the other end introduces himself as 'Senator Dick Kelsey' a Kansas State Senator from our area.  He asked if it would be ok for him to make an appearance at the party.  I said I would be honored.  He arrived and had a good time.  He described how he was the one who introduced Mike at the rally before the Kansas Caucus and gave the speech in support of Mike at the caucus.  Then announced to the group that he was running for US Congress to replace Todd Tiahrt who is running for US Senate.  Quit the surprise.

Sorry for the delay I've been dizzy bizzy.

Proud To Endorse Tim Huelskamp

I am proud to officially announce my endorsement of State Senator Tim Huelskamp for Congress in Kansas ' first district.

Having served as Governor of Arkansas for ten and a half years, I know the qualities that a politician should posses, and Tim meets those standards. Tim Huelskamp is a rare breed of leader who boldly stands up for conservative principles -- and has a ten-year voting record to prove it.

This is a pivotal time in our nation's history, it is vital to remember that it is the record not the rhetoric that matters most when electing a leader. Tim has a record few can match, a record that supports his conservative Kansas values.

That is why I hope you join me in supporting Tim Huelskamp.

I would not be supporting Tim if he were not 100 percent Pro-Life. Tim did not tell me he was pro-life, his record did.  And let me assure you that whether you're talking about fighting for lower taxes, government transparency, or protecting the 2nd Amendment, Tim Huelskamp's conservative voting record is solid.

As a farmer in Fowler, Kansas , Tim understands the struggles that families and small businesses must endure -- and how too much "big government" intervention can harm families and businesses.

The first district is blessed to have such a capable and proven leader like Tim Huelskamp. I am committed to doing what I can to help make sure he can bring those Kansas values to Washington, DC -- because we all know we have enough Washington values already. I hope you will join me in the fight for conservative values and support Tim Huelskamp for Congress.
