Candidates

Jackie Walorski

For Congress 2010
Indiana
Jackie Walorski is a different kind of politician – she’s different because she keeps her campaign promises. When Jackie ran her first race for State Representative back in 2004, she promised to bring conservative leadership and fiscal discipline back to the Statehouse and she did just that.

Jackie has focused on cutting out of control spending, cutting taxes and meeting a budget. Her focus has been on protecting the money in our pockets, not lining her own with favors from special interests. Jackie knows who her real bosses are – the people of Indiana’s second congressional district.

During a visit to Elkhart last year, I had the opportunity to meet Jackie and she shared many stories from the district about job loss, hardships from a lagging economy and the struggles of many families to make ends meet. Despite the trying times – Jackie has remained filled with hope, because she knows the right kind of leadership would help Northern Indiana’s economy rebound and the country.

We need a leader who will go to Congress and work to find real solutions to our nation’s real problems – Jackie Walorski is just that kind of leader.

Jackie has built a strong diverse grassroots network that at its core believes in true conservatism.

I hope the people of Indiana 2 will vote for Jackie this November. I know that Congress will greatly benefit from her truly conservative principles and her commitment to her constituency.

Marlin Stutzman

For Congress 2010
Indiana
Huck PAC and I are pleased to support Marlin Stutzman for Congress. Marlin is unabashedly pro-life, and his position on protecting unborn children isn’t political it’s personal. Marlin is a member of the NRA and has received an A rating from the organization - in part, for his work on getting Indiana’s lifetime handgun permit passed.

Like many states, Indiana unfortunately knows first hand the devastating effects of a struggling economy. As a fourth-generation farmer, Marlin understands how the states' families and small businesses are affected by poor economic policies. Marlin believes in lowering taxes on businesses, eliminating taxes on capital gains and investments and opposes the latest market-killing ‘solutions’ coming from Washington like Cap and Trade, government-run health care and card check.

We need more people like Marlin Stutzman in Washington because he’ll work for the right kind of change in D.C. Please join me in supporting Marlin Stutzman for Congress from Indiana.

Mike Pence

For Congress 2010
Indiana
Huck PAC and I are pleased to endorse my good friend, Congressman Mike Pence for re-election as Congressman for the 6th Congressional District of Indiana. Mike needs no introduction to the members of Huck PAC or to conservative Republicans across the country. His credentials as a conservative are above reproach.

The 6th Congressional District of Indiana has been fortunate to have Mike Pence as their Congressman since 2000. He is presently serving his fifth term in the United States House of Representatives. In November, 2008 Mike was elected unanimously by House Republicans to serve as House Republican Conference Chairman. His leadership skills are also unquestioned.

Mike describes himself as “a Christian, a conservative and a Republican, in that order.” That pretty well sums up Mike’s core values and what defines him as a leader and as a person.

Mike Pence lead opposition in Congress to bailouts of Wall Street and mega-corporations. He has worked hard to cut taxes for Indiana’s working families while opposing government bailouts for big corporations. Mike also continues the fight to reduce the bureaucratic red tape that stifles the ability of small businesses to expand and hire. Mike knows that prosperity follows when the talent and capital of the American people is unleashed.

Mike is also a strong supporter of the sanctity of life and will continue to fight for the family as a unit. He believes that every innocent life must be protected and that marriage is the union of one man and one woman. I urge you to support this strong conservative Republican. Mike is a leader that conservatives need to continue the fight in Washington.

Hoosiers Welcome Governor Huckabee to Indiana

This past week Huckabee supporters in Indiana had the opportunity to greet Gov. Huckabee on his book tour. Large, friendly crowds at Notre Dame University in South Bend and the Barnes and Noble in northeast Indianapolis came out to meet the Governor and get their books signed. Even though the lines moved quickly, fans got a firm hand shake and a warm greeting from the Governor.

His daughter, Sarah, was with him at both events and she took time to visit and offer encouragement to Huck PAC state and county coordinators who were able to attend. This was the second time I’d met Sarah, but the first time I really had the opportunity to discuss the PAC, its goals, fundraising, our unique grassroots organization, and more! I’m thankful for the opportunity to serve as a state coordinator and to work with the awesome staff and leadership at Huck PAC.

It’s encouraging to see Team Huck grow and accomplish goals. There’s much work still to be done. . .join us in our fight for conservatives!

The Sky Is Falling

The sky is falling or at least Washington seems to think so. And because they do, get ready for new taxes, new spending and new regulations. The nanny state is alive and well and if you don't listen and do what Washington tells you to do, you might just get hit on the head. So watch out this morning when you leave your front door, because you never know what might hit you

Huck PAC House Parties August 22nd!

On August 22nd Huck PAC supporters will gather to meet one another and make phone calls on behalf of Huck PAC endorsed candidate Bob McDonnell.  Bob is running for Governor of Virginia.  He has what it takes to be a great leader for Virginia.

Our goal for the day is to make 10,000 calls to Virginia voters. We are asking participants at each House Party to make a few calls using their cell phones.  You do not have to make calls to attend a Party and participation is FREE.  We will provide the lists of voters names and phone scripts for everyone willing to participate.

First though, we need House Party hosts.  If you are interested in hosting a House Party or want more information please contact Katie Beth Harris at Huck PAC or call Huck PAC at 501-324-2008.  Her email is katiebeth.harris(at)mikehuckabee.com.

As we identify House Party Hosts we will add their party information to the map below.

Greetings From The NYR Convention

Greetings from the National Young Republican’s Convention in Indianapolis!

Today was the first day of the convention and we have already met many Huck supporters! It is very reassuring to talk to young people who are excited about Gov. Huckabee and want to promote conservative candidates. One young man from Texas told us how he had actually met the Governor and how impressed he was! Several have asked if the Governor will be here and are disappointed when we tell them “no.”

RNC Chairman Michael Steele is in town and will be speaking tonight at an Indiana GOP dinner and will also hold a reception at a local steak house later this evening for the young republicans. Other planned speakers this week include: Pat Toomey (Pennsylvania Senate Candidate), Mike Pence (Indiana Congressman), Todd Rokita (Indiana Sec of State), Margaret Hoover (Fox News), Ken Blackwell, Brad White (Mississippi GOP party chair), Rich Lowrey (National Review), and Ryan Frazier (Colorado Senate candidate).

Volunteers from Team Huck will be adding comments as the week progresses. Wish you were here! NYR - Shelley Ahlersmeyer 1 NYR - Shelley Ahlersmeyer 2 NYR Shelley Ahlersmeyer 3
