Candidates

Bill Brady

For Governor 2010
Illinois
Bill Brady has the business experience and the legislative leadership needed to be the Governor of the state of Illinois. As the state’s chief executive, Bill will help Illinois families by fighting for lower taxes and working to stop out-of-control government spending. Bill’s experience has taught him that having higher taxes and fees in Illinois compared to surrounding states cripples economic development – he plans to create jobs by offering incentives to businesses and employers and lower those job-killing tax conditions.

Bill is pro-life and will stand up for our children and traditional family values. Bill has also shown a commitment to ending the corruption that has plagued Illinois politics for far too long. If you’re tired of the endless stream of scandals coming from Springfield, then elect a man who is committed to cleaning it up – help elect Bill Brady.

I hope you will join me in supporting Bill Brady for Governor of Illinois. Together, we can send the right man to the State house this November and signal a new start for all of Illinois.

The Sky Is Falling

The sky is falling or at least Washington seems to think so. And because they do, get ready for new taxes, new spending and new regulations. The nanny state is alive and well and if you don't listen and do what Washington tells you to do, you might just get hit on the head. So watch out this morning when you leave your front door, because you never know what might hit you

Huck PAC House Parties August 22nd!

On August 22nd Huck PAC supporters will gather to meet one another and make phone calls on behalf of Huck PAC endorsed candidate Bob McDonnell.  Bob is running for Governor of Virginia.  He has what it takes to be a great leader for Virginia.

Our goal for the day is to make 10,000 calls to Virginia voters. We are asking participants at each House Party to make a few calls using their cell phones.  You do not have to make calls to attend a Party and participation is FREE.  We will provide the lists of voters names and phone scripts for everyone willing to participate.

First though, we need House Party hosts.  If you are interested in hosting a House Party or want more information please contact Katie Beth Harris at Huck PAC or call Huck PAC at 501-324-2008.  Her email is katiebeth.harris(at)mikehuckabee.com.

As we identify House Party Hosts we will add their party information to the map below.

Why I Became A Coordinator for Huck PAC*

So, why did I, a junior college student who is double majoring in Political Science, and Radio Communication with a minor in History decide to become a
Illinois Coordinator for Huck PAC? Not just because I have been a supporter of Governor Huckabee’s for about four years, but also because I believe in his mission to elect *TRUE *Conservatives nation wide. Our country is on the wrong path right now, and we, as Conservatives and Americans need to stand together and stand against our broken tax system, abortion, Government intervention in the market, and so on. Huck PAC will do that! We as Huck PAC will only give money, and give our support to *TRUE *Conservatives.

God Bless,

Billy Bernardoni

Thank Goodness for Mike Huckabee

After working in State government for 6 years I have had my eyes opened to what politics is all about from the inside out.? Living in a liberal state like Illinois, working in government as a conservative is, to say the least, a challenge and quite often discouraging. Having gone through the George Ryan debacle and now the Blagojevich escapades while watching our Republican party be decimated at the National level -- I was ready to hang up my political hat -- until I read Governor Huckabee's book "Do the Right Thing." And then of course I had to run right out and get his first book "Character Makes A Difference."? After reading his books and knowing already what a wonderful man Mike Huckabee is, I knew I had to get on board the "Huck train" and be a part of doing what I can to make a difference. Mike authentically represents everything we true conservatives are all about. Thank goodness for Mike Huckabee and Huck PAC!

Change We Can Believe In

Many a conservative has watched in bewildered fascination as oceans of people have clamored to the hope put forward by Barack Obama for "Change We Can Believe In". Apparently not having done their homework, many are now asking, "Just what have we gotten ourselves into?” And he has only been President for just 100 days!

Now is the time. Huck PAC is the place. Complacency is a thing of the past. We need everyone to get on-board and do what we can to help turn this troubled nation around.

I had never been "politically active" before in my life short of going to the voting booth. But finding Governor Huckabee in February 2007 changed all that in a blink of an eye. Never before had I heard a politician speak so articulately, and from the heart. I immediately started doing my own research and have found the good Governor to be the genuine article.

I am a mother of four grown children and grandmother of 5 grandchildren. Taking a few minutes each day to spread the word about Huck PAC and helping with my few dollars will go a long way. Why? Because there will be thousands and thousands of other grandmothers, and grandfathers and even teen-ages doing the same thing. Together we can make changes WE can truly believe in. Not just empty words. But changes that will restore our country to the beauty she once was.

Together we can do it.

A Shining City On A Hill

My story starts in 8th grade. That year I had history class with Mr. Mingus, my mentor. I had heard stories that he was mean and yelled all the time. I went into his class scared to death, but after being there some time I realized he was not that bad. In his class instead of going over history we debated. My immediate family has never voted in their life and does not talk politics or issues so I figured I would struggle at this. I was quiet for the first month or so, but one day Mr. Mingus said, "Cody what do you think about this?" That's when it started and it has not stopped since.

Ever since that day I have had a passion in my heart for a better America. After that day I was always debating. Now no one can say I was ever pressured by my parents or family to believe what I do, because they were never in that class with me holding my hand and they did not care about politics. In their minds they think all politicians are crooks. I'm in the process of changing their minds. Now I am a volunteer of the Tazewell County Republicans, Chairman and creator of the first Teenage Republicans Club at Pekin Community High School, and Chairman and creator of the first Tazewell County Teenage Republicans.

All that since 8th grade, I am currently in the 10th grade. I have also been a volunteer in the Aaron Schock for Congress campaign and have had the chance to meet Fred Thompson and Joe Lieberman and I went to the Palin Rally after the VP debate. It has been a whirlwind for me, but it has all been worth it.

I stand firmly on my principles and never back down. One day I hope to be a Congressman and President, but for now I will support those candidates that like me dream for a better America, or as Reagan put it "a shining city on a hill"

God Bless America!

Why Did I Join Huck PAC?

So, why did I decide to become an Illinois coordinator for Governor Huckabee’s HuckPAC?  Well let me tell you a little bit about myself before I answer that question.  My name is William Erio Bernardoni also known as Billy Bernardoni and I am a junior double major at Greenville College studying History/Political Science and Communication: Mass Communication.  I am also the President of the Greenville College Young Republicans, work with the Greenville College football team, work with campus safety, work with AGAPE which is a music festival put on by the college, and work with the college radio station.

So, with that on my platter why did I decide to volunteer even more of my time to become a coordinator for the state of Illinois?  Here is why.  I have been a supporter of Governor Huckabee since February 2005 when I read an article in  USA Today while I was attending the CADCA Conference in Washington D.C.  I believe strongly in what Huck PAC and Governor Huckabee are trying to do with this tremendous organization.  Right now in Washington, Republicans and Democrats are both taking this country down the wrong path and  Huck PAC will only support candidates who will support the FairTax, support the rights of the unborn, stand up against Government intervention in the market place, and stand up against wasteful spending.  HuckPAC will stand up for Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness and only help elect candidates that will do those things.  If you believe in those principals join  Huck PAC and become a volunteer.

Bail Me Out Please

The President seems to be bailing out all those big businesses like AIG, Citi Bank, General Motors, Chrysler, etc.  So far Presidents Bush and Obama have spent a combined 8.5 trillion dollars, according to the Bloomberg news.  WOW!  Well here is how it breaks down.  1.8 trillion to help pay bills, 606 billion for “other assets,” 600 billion “finance company debt,” 1.4 trillion for guaranteed loans, 139 billion to General Electric, and so on and so forth, and our President says he will cut the deficit in half by the end of his first term which is very funny especially when he will also pass Universal Health Care.

President Obama, his cabinet, and Congress need to let Capitalism run its course.  Right now the inevitable is just being pushed back.  Most of the companies that are being bailed out will fail because of greedy CEO’s and bad business.  President Obama made a promise to bailout Main Street; spending 8.5 trillion dollars of my money and your money is not bailing out Main Street. Having a treasury secretary who does not know how to pay his taxes, and who wants to take more power over the financial industry will cause even more problems.

How about taking all of the 8.5 trillion dollars back, and balance the budget, and cut wasteful Government programs like the Internal Revenue Service and replace it with the FairTax.  Why?  Because here is what the FairTax would do, according to FairTax.org.  “It would Enables workers to keep their entire paychecks, enable retirees to keep their entire pensions.  It would refund in advance the tax on purchases of basic necessities, allow American products to compete fairly, bring transparency and accountability to tax policy, ensure Social Security and Medicare funding, close all loopholes and brings fairness to taxation, and last but certainly not least abolish the IRS.”  If you want to be bailed out you want the fair tax.  If you support the fair tax call your congressman and senator and tell him to vote yes on HR 25 and S 296.
