Candidates

Sam Teasley

For Georgia State House 2010
Georgia
Little Rock, AR - Governor Mike Huckabee issued the following statement about Sam Teasley:

"One of the people I got to know well during my campaign for the Presidency was Sam Teasley. Sam is not a typical politician, he's a businessman and a family man - and he is running for State Representative on the values that have made this nation great. Frankly, we need more principled leaders like Sam; with them in office our country wouldn't be in the mess we're in today.

As a small business person, Sam recognizes that there must be accountability in government to balance its books and not pass on a legacy of debt and government dependency to our children. I am excited about Sam's candidacy and I hope you join me in supporting him."

Sam Teasley responded to the endorsement:

"I am deeply grateful to have Governor Huckabee's enthusiastic support. He is a national leader on the issues that matter most to our country: fair taxation, limited government, and personal responsibility. It is an honor not only to have his endorsement, but also to call him friend.

The people of Georgia are looking for their elected officials to represent common sense conservative values at the State House. All too often, politicians take a 'government knows best' mentality. But I am committed to earning the public's trust by serving with transparency, responsiveness, and responsibility. As our Founding Fathers stated in the Declaration of Independence, I believe that the role of government is to secure the rights granted to us by our Creator and not to provide for our every need. "

Georgia Team Huck Newsletter

Greetings Team Huck Georgia Volunteers!

I hope y'all have had a wonderful summer!

On Saturday, August 22nd, we are going to be having the 2nd round of House Parties.  The focus of the Parties this time is to make calls into Virginia on behalf of Huck PAC endorsed candidate Bob McDonnell.  He is a strong Conservative candidate for Governor of Virginia and their elections are being held this November.  The Commonwealth of Virginia has hit hard times, just like  locations all across the country, and desperately needs strong Conservative leadership.  Bob McDonnell is the man for the job!

Bob is currently leading in the polls but the Democrats will stop at nothing to make sure he is defeated!  We must win!! Our goal for the day is to make 10,000 calls to Virginia voters from all over the country. We are asking participants at each House Party to make a few calls using their cell phones. You do not have to make calls to attend a Party and participation is FREE. We will provide the lists of voters names and phone scripts for everyone willing to participate.

There are already two House Parties lined up in Georgia.  They are being hosted by:

Kyle Constable
115 Northbrook Court
Leesburg, GA

Contact info: 229-349-0144
Email: kyle@kyleconstable.com

Time of Party: 4-6pm

Note: Kyle asked us to mention that his address doesn't show on Google Maps.

Bethany Gillis
448 Gordon Street
Bremen, GA 30110

Contact information: 678-787-2811

If you are interested in hosting a House Party please E-mail Katie Beth Harris and your party will be added to the list and the Interactive map on the HuckPAC website. Her email is katiebeth.harris@mikehuckabee.com. I realize that the goal of making 10,000 calls may seem like a daunting task.  However, if 200 people pledge to make 50 calls on August 22nd our goal will be reached and a strong message will be sent to the people of Virginia.

I know we can count on YOU to help make the House Parties on August 22nd nothing short of a complete success!

With gratitude,

Brian Donegan, Georgia Coordinator

The Sky Is Falling

The sky is falling or at least Washington seems to think so. And because they do, get ready for new taxes, new spending and new regulations. The nanny state is alive and well and if you don't listen and do what Washington tells you to do, you might just get hit on the head. So watch out this morning when you leave your front door, because you never know what might hit you

Can-Do Conservatives for Huck PAC!

June 23, 2009 by bdbopper

Today our Nation stands at a crossroads.  The economy is in shambles.  Unemployment is rising rapidly.  The national debt is rising even faster than that while ridiculous, reckless, and unconstitutional bailouts are rammed through Congress so fast  that our Representatives and Senators have no time to read through the bills. Coming up next down the pipe is socialized medicine and Card Check.  In my lifetime there has never been as much to fight against in order to protect the freedom we are blessed with, as well as, the American Dream.

Our nation is starving for strong Conservative leadership.  In order to protect our freedom and the American Dream we must work hard to elect strong Conservatives at all levels of Government this year, and especially during next year’s mid-term elections.  That is why I am very proud to endorse the purpose and mission of Huck PAC!

Huck PAC has a clear mission:

Huck PAC is founded on the principles that make America great: Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. Our Republican Party embodies these ideas and is best suited to lead America forward.Huck PAC is committed to helping Republicans regain control of the House and Senate, regain a majority of governorships and supporting conservative principles around the country.Huck PAC will support Republican candidates who are passionate advocates for tax reform, a strong national defense, real border security, life, the family, less government, and individual liberty.

As part of our effort to support strong Republican candidates we have formed Team Huck. Team Huck is a grassroots volunteer organization devoted to helping Huck PAC find, endorse, and elect Republican candidates who share our principles.

Huck PAC will identify candidates who hold firm to these principles, promote their campaigns and financially support their efforts.

Governor Mike Huckabee and Huck PAC will fight for the issues that are important to us.  They understand that our lives, and  those of all Americans will thrive under a strong, free-market economic system, where every American is free to advance up the economic ladder through hard work and personal responsibility.  Many of the candidates that HuckPAC will support will fight hard for the ultimate economic stimulus, The FairTax.  Huck PAC endorsed candidates will fight for common-sense health-care reform, school choice, the  sanctity of human life from conception until natural death, and other issues important to us all here.

We are also very pleased that several supporters of our movement are also supported by Huck PAC – Rex Rice in South Carolina, Marco Rubio in Florida, and Bob Vander Plaats up in Iowa.  These folks are champions for our cause and we are very pleased that Governor Mike Huckabee and HuckPAC also see the merits of these fine conservatives.

Please go visit Huck PAC, sign up for Team Huck, and let’s all get involved in standing strong for our conservative values and principles.  THE TIME TO FIGHT IS NOW!!  Huck PAC is in the fight for us so let’s join the fight with them!

The Time To Lead Is Now

Last weekend in Savannah I was blessed to attend my first Georgia State Republican Convention as a delegate.  You can bet HuckPAC was represented well despite facing adversity.  In a quick summary here is what we were able to accomplish:

- Signed up 15 more names to the mailing list
- Handed out tons of Huck Stickers, and bumper stickers
- Shook scores of hands and met lots of people telling each of them about HuckPAC/Team Huck and our mission
- Everyone got a flier in their convention "Goodie bag" (a very impressive flier at that)
- handed out candidate surveys to every candidate for state-wide office (except for one candidate for Attorney General that I could not find after he spoke).
- I also worked the room at the Young Republicans state convention that was held an hour after the state GOP convention was adjourned.

I wish to thank the volunteers who helped accomplish what we did (even those who could not join us...your donations to HuckPAC over the past few months helped).  I hope that if you were there I was able to meet you.  If you were there and we didn't meet up I hope we will be able to do so down the road at another event.

Between all of the business and a lot of fun (the parties on Friday night were a blast!) we were treated to many fine speeches.  Our keynote came from the newly-elected Chairman of the RNC, Michael Steele.  His speech was very passionate and very well done.  I would like to share with you what I feel was the most memorable and most important part of his speech.

After speaking for awhile Chairman Steele called a particular group to action.  He asked that every person in the room that is a Teen Republican, College Republican, or Young Republican stand up and be recognized.  I proudly stood up.  Steele went on to call us to action.

"If anyone tells you you are the future of the Republican party, they are wrong.   You ARE the here and the now!  You no longer have to ask permission to do anything.  Go out and lead and lead now!"

I know we have many folks out there reading this blog right now that, like me, are either a Teen Republican, College Republican, or a Young Republican.  I want you to do the same thing that Chairman Steele asked us to do in Savannah.  The time is now to get off your seat and get things done.  We don't have any time to lose.  We must fight for our conservative values and principles.  That is Team Huck's mission in the next few years by supporting strong conservatives running for offices at all levels of Government.  I hope you will stand up and fight by joining Team Huck today.  After doing so tell all of your friends and family about Team Huck and our mission too.  Shout it from the mountaintops through your online network of friends (Facebook, Twitter, etc)!

Together we can and WE WILL win this fight!  JOIN TEAM HUCK TODAY!!!
