Candidates
Trent Franks
For Congress 2010
Arizona
Congressman Franks strongly believes that our culture begins and ends with family. A strong economy, a safe society and ultimately the American dream are intrinsically dependent upon the success of the American family. Trent has served children and families in Congress, and prior to that as Director of the Arizona Family Research Institute, and as Director of the Arizona Governor's Office For Children, a cabinet level division of the Governor's office. Congressman Franks has learned from his experience in these various positions that government is simply incapable of replacing the family. Trent often says "The family is still the best Department of Welfare, the best Department of Education, the best Department of Drug Enforcement, and the best Department of Public Safety that there will ever be."
Congressman Franks also strongly believes that the first and primary purpose of government is to protect its citizens. He is a firm believe in the three-time loser law that provides for life imprisonment for individuals convicted of a violent crime a third time. He continues to believe that violent career criminals should become career inmates. Trent believes that economic growth and productivity is the substantive proof of sound economic policy. He believes that it is absolutely imperative that American economic policy be geared to reward productivity. The primary role of government in the economy is to combat fraud and price fixing practices, and simply get out of the way of free enterprise and let the people produce. This means less regulation, less taxes, and less intrusion into private markets and business.

On August 22nd Huck PAC supporters will gather to meet one another and make phone calls on behalf of Huck PAC endorsed candidate Bob McDonnell. Bob is running for Governor of Virginia. He has what it takes to be a great leader for Virginia.
Our goal for the day is to make 10,000 calls to Virginia voters. We are asking participants at each House Party to make a few calls using their cell phones. You do not have to make calls to attend a Party and participation is FREE. We will provide the lists of voters names and phone scripts for everyone willing to participate.
First though, we need House Party hosts. If you are interested in hosting a House Party or want more information please contact Katie Beth Harris at Huck PAC or call Huck PAC at 501-324-2008. Her email is katiebeth.harris(at)mikehuckabee.com.
As we identify House Party Hosts we will add their party information to the map below.

When Gov. Huckabee gave his speech at the convention I found him to be a gracious, witty, intelligent and articulate human being. He spoke of civil rights and growing up in the south when segregation was still going on and witnessing firsthand the ignorance of it all. I know from reading about him later on that he integrated the church he was Pastor of. Some of his congregation was not happy about it, but, he stood his ground and stood on his principals. I admire that in him. When he said “I’m not a Republican because I grew up rich, I’m a Republican because I didn’t want to spend the rest of my life being poor, waiting for the government to rescue me”, he spoke with such truthfulness and sincerity that I knew right then and there that I had to learn more about this man and I did.
What I have found is an honest, caring, hard working southern gentleman who happens to be a politician.
After the election in November I knew it was time to get off the couch, get myself in gear and get involved or I was going to lose the Country that I had grown up in (I am 46). I know the way to make sure we don’t lose our Country is to help Huck PAC get conservatives elected and re-elected and also get Mike Huckabee in the White House where he belongs as President of the United States!
Something seemed to be pushing me into action and into an unlikely direction from where I had been. I have come to realize it is not something, but, someone, and that someone is God. I feel like he has had his eye on me for a while and now he has his hand on me and leading me down a pathway that I am only to happy to follow. You see it’s not only that I want to do this; it’s that I have to do this.
In early January I read Gov. Huckabee’s book “Do the Right Thing”. On January 31, I volunteered to be a State Coordinator for Huck PAC. I am also becoming a Precinct Committeemen for the Republican Party in my Legislative District. Who knows where this will all lead? On a personal note, In February I read Gov. Huckabee’s “Quit Digging Your Grave with a Knife and Fork” and on March 14, 2009 I started a weight loss program/cure (with the help of the best weight loss Dr. in the world!) and as of today (May 4, 2009) I have lost an amazing 54lbs in 52 days. Still about 100 to go!
I have never had (except for parents) a single person be more of an inspiration and influence on my life than Gov. Mike Huckabee has. That is why I am a volunteer for Huck PAC.
Hello Fellow Ari-ZONE-ans! You are now in the Huck ZONE!
Welcome to the new Huck PAC website and to your Arizona page.
Huck PAC’s primary goal is to identify and get elected (or re-elected)Republicans who are committed to conservative principals such as, tax reform, border security, life, family, a strong National defense, less government and liberty for all.
In order to accomplish this they need a strong, dedicated group of volunteers. That is where we come in. Arizona is a great state with a proud conservative foundation. It is time for her people to rise up and continue that tradition. We can do great things when we all work together. Over the next months and years there will be plenty to do. In 2010 we will be helping to get our Huck PAC endorsed candidate Trent Franks re-elected to Congress. To find out more about Congressman Franks: http://www.house.gov/franks/
If you know of someone you think would be a good candidate of Huck PAC support please e-mail me at minda@huckpacvolunteer.com and I will assist you in that effort.
With the new website we now have a powerful tool that will help bring us together and help each of us contribute to the future of our country. Please join us. If you were already signed up on the old Huck PAC site you do NOT need to sign up again. If you are new, it will only take a few minutes to sign up and then you can create or join a group.
