Candidates
Beth Anne Rankin
For Congress 2010
Arkansas
Beth Anne Rankin was still a college student when I first met her. I have watched her as she successfully navigated a varied career path through entertainment, politics, government service, and small business. In all of those endeavors, she has excelled and proven her tenacity for the tough tasks.
She is prepared and capable of being a great member of Congress who actually represents the people instead of Washington special interests.
Her time has come!
I urge each of you to join me and support Beth Anne Rankin for Congress in the 4th Congressional District of Arkansas.
Jim Keet
For Governor 2010
Arkansas
Jim has the right kind of experience to lead all of Arkansas, in part because of his background in starting new businesses – having created more than 3,500 jobs. He’s more than just a talking head and is serious about making significant positive changes. Jim will cut the wasteful spending, on his first day in office and he has vowed to cut 20% from the Governor’s office budget
As Governor, it’s vital to understand the Legislature and be able to work with them to accomplish your agenda. Jim has the legislative credentials and relationships needed to craft, push and pass legislation because he has served in the Arkansas House of Representatives and was then elected to the Arkansas State Senate.
I hope you will join me in supporting Jim Keet and make him the next Governor of Arkansas.
John Boozman
For Senate 2010
Arkansas
“Huck PAC and I are pleased to endorse Congressman John Boozman for U.S. Senate from Arkansas.
John is a strong fiscal and social conservative with a proven track record of putting principal above politics and character above calculations. John Boozman knows what it takes to build jobs in Arkansas because he’s done it as a small business owner for over 25 years.
Congressman Boozman will continue to listen to the people of Arkansas, and make decisions in their best interest – not for his political career.
I believe our best days lay ahead of us, but we must elect folks like John Boozman in order to achieve that.
Now is the time for all Arkansans to rally behind John, and make sure we send him back to Washington D.C. – this time as Senator Boozman.”
Kelly Boyd
For State Representative 2010
Arkansas
We’ll never have to question where Kelly stands, or if he’ll be as conservative as his campaign promises because he’s a man of his word. I got to know Kelly very well when I appointed him as a commissioner on the Arkansas Rural Development Commission, and then asked him to come and work as a member of my staff, serving as my Policy Advisor for Technology. He served the Governor’s office well during some difficult Legislative negotiations – working with Legislators on both sides of the aisle to get the job done. No doubt, he’ll serve the people of the 61st well too.
Kelly believes that lower taxes are better than higher taxes and he will fight to reduce the tax burden for the families not only in his district but for all of Arkansas. Kelly believes that life begins at conception and will fight to protect the unborn. Kelly will actively oppose any effort to weaken or repeal the current Right to Work laws in Arkansas. Put simply, Kelly will fight for the people of the 61st district.
We need more people like Kelly in our state capitals across the country. Please join me in supporting Kelly Boyd for State Rep. District 61 – let’s send him to Little Rock.
Mark Darr
For Lt. Governor 2010
Arkansas
And having been a small business owner for several years, Mark knows first had the economic struggles facing business in every corner of Arkansas. Mark will be a vocal advocate for small business owners, because he knows small business owners are the backbone of our state's economy.”
Matthew Shepherd
For Arkansas State Representative 2010
Arkansas
Matthew Shepherd will concentrate on giving the people of District 6 a voice in Little Rock and will work hard to ensure Union County and El Dorado remain an economic leader and a great place to live. Matt understands the heavy responsibility involved in public service and is up to the task of effectively representing the people of his District.
Matt recognizes that jobs and economic development are critical immediate concerns. He also will emphasize creating greater efficiency in state government, upgrading infrastructure particularly the state’s highway system and improving the quality of public education.
I know that Matthew Shepherd will be a great state representative and urge each of you to support his campaign.
Rick Crawford
For Congress 2010
Arkansas
Rick is the kind of conservative Republican we need to send to Washington to act as a check and balance to the Obama Administration and the liberals in Congress. He recognizes that we have a lot of work to do, but his background and training make him uniquely equipped to help lead the return to fiscal sanity.
Rick Crawford grew up in a military family, and had a chance to live all over the United States, and experience overseas living as well. Rick graduated from Arkansas State University and he and his wife Stacy live in Jonesboro.
Rick knows that the importance of agriculture to Arkansas’ economy cannot be overstated, since it is the state’s number one industry. It is vitally important that our leadership in Washington take a hands on approach in protecting our industry.
As a strong conservative, Rick supports a Taxpayers’ Bill of Rights, which will limit federal spending growth to the percentage in population growth plus the rate of inflation. He also favors ending tax funded abortions and would vote to stop federal payments to Planned Parenthood and prohibit any taxpayer-subsidized health insurance plan from covering abortion.
Steve Womack
For Congress 2010
Arkansas
Steve is a small businessman, who understands how to make, and more importantly, meet a budget. We need more proven conservative leaders in Washington like Steve. His time serving as Mayor of Rogers for more than 12 years has also uniquely qualified him with invaluable perspective on how to get things done.
Steve believes in fiscal responsibility and will fight the reckless spending that is drowning our great nation and saddling generations with enormous debt. A defender of traditional marriage, and a firm believer that life begins at conception; we will never have to question where Steve stands on crucial social issues.
I hope you will join me in supporting Steve Womack for Congress.
Tim Griffin
For Congress 2010
Arkansas
As a small business owner, Tim knows firsthand what it is like to sign the front of the paycheck. He understands the issues facing small business owners, and recognizes that small businesses are the backbone of our economy.
Tim wants to end to the out of control spending and soaring national debt that is coming from Washington – and he knows, like Arkansas families have to do – the Federal government must stop spending money it doesn’t have.
Tim will take the values he learned growing up in Arkansas with him DC – firmly believing that all life is precious and that marriage is between one man and one woman for life. Tim is also a firm believer in the 2nd amendment and the freedom it brings.
I hope you will join me in supporting Tim Griffin.

I am pleased to endorse Matthew Shepherd for the Arkansas House of Representatives in District 6. Matt made the decision to enter the District 6 race because he believes the people deserve strong representation and decisive leadership in the Arkansas legislature.

Help Huck PAC support candidates like Matthew.
John is pro life, supports the FairTax, and supports a constitutional amendment defining marriage as between one man and one woman. He is also a supporter of the Second Amendment, is opposed to the expansion of the federal government, and opposes government run health care and the bailouts of private businesses.
John Parke will bring common sense to the state capitol. He believes that government must run efficiently and effectively and will bring some of his business philosophy to the capitol with him. He will work hard to reduce the waste in government and look at ways to improve the bottom line – not just raise more taxes.
John also recognizes that jobs are the lifeblood of Arkansas. In order to create more jobs, John believes that Arkansas must become more business friendly. One of the ways to accomplish this is to change our tax structure.
As State Representative, John Parke will advocate for conservative Arkansas values such as individual freedom, local control, smaller government, traditional values and lower taxes. I urge each of you to support John Parke for State Representative of District 31.

I have a few items today to update you.
First of all, we will have HuckPAC house parties coming up on Saturday, August 22. These will not be typical parties but instead will be a chance for us to flex our grassroots muscle. The purpose will be to make phone calls into Virginia to turn out the vote for Republican candidate Bob McDonnell. You can find out more information at his website.
You may ask - why do I care who the governor is in Virginia? There are several reasons. First, this race will be a bell weather election for conservatives across the nation. A victory for Virginia conservatives will be a victory for us all. Second, this will be a chance for us to practice working together so that when 2010 get here we will be ready. And finally, we need to remember that it is not about us. At the end of day, this is simply a chance for Arkansas conservatives to help Virginia conservatives.
I will be hosting a house party in Little Rock at Larry Pizza's West on Highway 10. The owner Mark Darr has made his party room available for us to us and will provide drinks. We will be meeting from 1:00 to 4:00 on August 22, Saturday Afternoon. Please let me know if you can attend all or part of this event. And remember to bring your cell phone.
We are also looking for others to host house parties on this date around the state so please let us know if you are willing to do this. If you can't make it one or host one, then the phone bank will be available through HuckPAC.com where you can make calls from home.
We are also seeking to set up county and local coordinators through Arkansas. If you are interested in this, please let me know.
Finally, I have a weblog set up that I will try to keep update with Team Huck Arkansas news. If you have information that you feel needs to be noted or would like to do a guest post, please let me know.
Sincerely,
Jason Tolbert

On August 22nd Huck PAC supporters will gather to meet one another and make phone calls on behalf of Huck PAC endorsed candidate Bob McDonnell. Bob is running for Governor of Virginia. He has what it takes to be a great leader for Virginia.
Our goal for the day is to make 10,000 calls to Virginia voters. We are asking participants at each House Party to make a few calls using their cell phones. You do not have to make calls to attend a Party and participation is FREE. We will provide the lists of voters names and phone scripts for everyone willing to participate.
First though, we need House Party hosts. If you are interested in hosting a House Party or want more information please contact Katie Beth Harris at Huck PAC or call Huck PAC at 501-324-2008. Her email is katiebeth.harris(at)mikehuckabee.com.
As we identify House Party Hosts we will add their party information to the map below.

Huck PAC is one place I feel I can make a difference. As a pro-life conservative, I support our efforts to advance candidates who support a Federal Human Life Amendment. As a CPA who deals with the complexities of our tax code everyday, I support the FairTax and believe it is the best solution to our current economic crisis. As a husband and father, I am proud of our efforts to advance family values and support traditional marriage.
Huck PAC gives me a place where I can work with others who shares these ideals and who want to see candidates elected at all levels who will support the things that I believe. I am excited for this opportunity and ready to get to work. If you share these ideals, please join me as we work together.

Looking For A Few Good People In Arkansas
Team Huck is the culmination of that vision. If you are worried about the direction of government today, it is time to stand up and be counted. Get involved. Don't just stand on the sidelines. We no longer have the luxury of being the silent majority. The very fiber of the country we all love is threatened. It seems that the attacks are coming from all sides, fast and furious. Three states now recognize same sex marriages. Despite promises to decrease taxes for the middle class, it is now apparent that the Obama Administration will be increasing many taxes - taxes that will affect the middle class and the poor more than they will affect the wealthy. The Second Amendment is under attack once again, as the radical left moves to take away every American's right to own guns. Government is moving radically to take control of our lives, from cradle to grave.
Spending is out of control. The deficit is now measured in trillions, not billions, and no one in the Obama Administration seems to notice. Join Team Huck, make a difference. Together we can change the future of our country. Doing nothing and standing on the sidelines is no longer an option. If you are willing to help in Arkansas, leave a comment here, and we will contact you.
Here is some great video from the Little Rock House Party:
Darrell Brown (one of the Arkansas National Volunteer Team Coordinators) setup a Facebook group this weekend for Arkansas. If you are from Arkansas or want to be from Arkansas we encourage you to head over and join Darrell's new group here.
Thanks all.
