On August 22nd Huck PAC supporters will gather to meet one another and make phone calls on behalf of Huck PAC endorsed candidate Bob McDonnell. Bob is running for Governor of Virginia. He has what it takes to be a great leader for Virginia.
Our goal for the day is to make 10,000 calls to Virginia voters. We are asking participants at each House Party to make a few calls using their cell phones. You do not have to make calls to attend a Party and participation is FREE. We will provide the lists of voters names and phone scripts for everyone willing to participate.
First though, we need House Party hosts. If you are interested in hosting a House Party or want more information please contact Katie Beth Harris at Huck PAC or call Huck PAC at 501-324-2008. Her email is katiebeth.harris(at)mikehuckabee.com.
As we identify House Party Hosts we will add their party information to the map below.

National Huck PAC House Parties
Team Huck National has reserved Saturday, August 22, 2009 for our next round of Huck PAC House Parties. Save the date and look for a House Party near you! For those of you that missed the first round of House Parties, they are a chance to get together and meet other Huck PAC volunteers and supporters and discuss local/national issues important to the cause. Governor Huckabee had a video for us all to watch at the last house party.
Please think about hosting a House Party in Washington State. All you really need is a living room, a willing heart, and maybe a DVD player. Because it is difficult to predict in advance the number of people that will show up at each Huck PAC house party, I suggest people consider potlucks for those house parties wanting to have refreshments. This will decrease the burden on the host, match the amount of food needed to the number of guests attending, and hopefully encourage more people to volunteer as hosts! There will be more to come on Huck PAC.
Referendum 71
Local efforts to protect and defend traditional marriage are currently underway with signature gathering on Referendum 71, and your help is needed! For those that haven’t heard, our Washington state legislature passed SB 5688 this session. SB 5688 was packaged as an expansion of benefits to domestic partnerships. In reality, it will be a major step toward eroding traditional marriage in Washington State. It has been pointed out that if domestic partnerships are made “separate but equal” to marriage, historical precedent tells us there will inevitably be a demand for equality and the legalization of gay marriage in our state. R71 seeks to preserve marriage and protect children. There is less than one month left to gather 120,577 signatures on R71 in order to freeze SB 5688 and turn the decision over to the voters in November. Please go to Protect Marriage WA for information and petitions. State Senator Val Stevens and Representative Matt Shea have taken a courageous stand in support of marriage and have also put out a DVD in support of R71.

Looking For A Few Good People In Washington
Team Huck is the culmination of that vision. If you are worried about the direction of government today, it is time to stand up and be counted. Get involved. Don't just stand on the sidelines. We no longer have the luxury of being the silent majority. The very fiber of the country we all love is threatened. It seems that the attacks are coming from all sides, fast and furious. Three states now recognize same sex marriages. Despite promises to decrease taxes for the middle class, it is now apparent that the Obama Administration will be increasing many taxes - taxes that will affect the middle class and the poor more than they will affect the wealthy. The Second Amendment is under attack once again, as the radical left moves to take away every American's right to own guns. Government is moving radically to take control of our lives, from cradle to grave.
Spending is out of control. The deficit is now measured in trillions, not billions, and no one in the Obama Administration seems to notice. Join Team Huck, make a difference. Together we can change the future of our country. Doing nothing and standing on the sidelines is no longer an option. If you are willing to help in Washington, leave a comment here, and we will contact you.
Thanks for organizing this!
P.S. It would be great to have some educational video with Gov. Huckabee explaining the details of how the Fair Tax works. Janet Huckabee explained it so well when she visited in Washington state, and I would love to have video of that to share with others at our next HuckPAC house party.
